On February 14th, 2023, Durango Boot® proudly presented a 2022 donation of $3,910.00 to the Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute (OSUCCC – James). The contribution continues Durango®’s commitment to breast cancer research, bringing the brand’s lifetime donation to $273,184. “Breast cancer research is a cause that Durango ® has been committed to for over a decade,” commented Erin DeLong, Durango ®Boots marketing manager. “We look to support and align with local institutions, such as the Stefanie Spielman Foundation, who are helping those affected by breast cancer. Our team is truly honored to continue to support the Stefanie Spielman Foundation through our Pink Ribbon Boots, to ultimately give cancer the boot, one pair at a time.” Durango® has two styles that directly contribute towards breast cancer research and awareness. The Lady Rebel™ Pink Ribbon Boot (RD3557) is a pink 10-inch full-grain leather pull-on style that features a small pink ribbon logo on each pull tab and a translucent pink ribbon graphic on the outsole. Additionally, last year Durango introduced the 12-inch Western Pink Ribbon Sepia Blush Crush™ Boot (DRD0438), which features faux leather and an embroidered pink ribbon on the pull tab and on the full-grain leather accessory strap with antiqued metal hardware. These two Durango ® Pink Ribbon boots are available at select retailers nationwide, as well as on our website.
About the Stefanie Spielman Fund
In 1998, Stefanie Spielman was diagnosed with breast cancer at the
age of 30 and lost her battle with the disease in 2009. Stefanie and
her husband Chris Spielman, an All-Star linebacker from Massillon,
Ohio and 11-year NFL player, became advocates for the fight against
breast cancer, founding the Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer
Research in 1998. The fund has raised more than $22 million to
support research at the OSUCCC – James. To learn more about the
