The 2024 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo® (NFR) was one for the books, and Riley Webb stole the spotlight with incredible performances that led him to become the 2024 Average Winner and World Champion Tie-Down Roper, securing a back-to-back championship. But Riley wasn't the only Durango® athlete making waves—Team Durango® had an outstanding presence, claiming two world championships, multiple round wins, and over $1,033,181 in total winnings! Here's a closer look at the highlights from the event.
Riley Webb: The Youngest PRCA Million-Dollar Athlete
Riley Webb's performance at the 2024 NFR was nothing short of historic. Starting strong with a 7.0-second run to win Round 1, he followed it up with a 7.8-second run in Round 2 and a 7.5-second run in Round 4, claiming victory in each. His dominant performance throughout the event earned him the Average Winner and World Champion Tie-Down Roper titles.

Zeke Thurston wins Round 3 and Round 1 in saddle bronc riding at NFR 2024.
Team Durango's Breakaway Roping Sweep
Kelsie Domer captured her 10th world championship, claiming the title of 2024 World Champion Breakaway Roper and Average Champion, finishing first overall. Martha Angelone earned the Reserve World Champion title with a strong second-place finish, while Josie Conner secured third place, completing an impressive clean sweep of the top three spots!

Team Durango athletes delivered several standout performances:

Zeke Thurston kicked off the NFR with an 86.5-point ride to win Round 1 and followed it up with an 88-point ride to win Round 3.

Hunter Koch and Cody Snow roped an incredible 4.1-second run in Round 4, sharing the win with three other teams.

Ty Erickson took the win in Round 8 with a 3.6-second run on Durango's Night.

Durango's Night and Katelyn Collins' NDOTC Scholarship
A special moment at the 2024 NFR was Durango's Night, where we celebrated Katelyn Collins, the recipient of the National Day of the Cowgirl Scholarship. Katelyn received a $30,000 check to go towards her schooling to become a veterinarian. We are proud to support her and look forward to seeing her future successes. Learn more here.
