ABOUT TY
A Montana cowboy to the core, Ty Erickson was born and raised in Big Sky country, and is one of
the most decorated steer wrestlers in the field. He furthered his education at Montana State
University where he qualified all four years to compete at the College National Finals Rodeo. Rodeo
is a way of life for Erickson and his family. Erickson’s wife Cierra trains horses and is also in the
rodeo circuit, and daughter Cedona attended her first rodeo with them when she was only one
week old. They enjoy traveling to and attending rodeos together and are grateful to be on this
journey as a family.
