About Cheyanne

Oklahoma-based cowgirl Cheyanne McCartney was born and raised in Louisiana and learned to rope from her father. As a young woman she had two goals - compete in the arena and get a college degree. McCartney accomplished both goals, obtaining her college degree from Texas A&M Commerce, and quickly hitting the rodeo trail after graduation. Most recently, she achieved a lifetime goal of making the National Finals Rodeo in breakaway roping and continues on her mission to be at the top of her pack in the arena. Her intense focus and consistency in training stage her to be one of the best young riders moving forward.
