About Stevi

Professional Barrel Racer Stevi Hillman uses rodeo as a platform to reach people, saying, “It is not who I am, but what I do.” Raised on her grandparents’ farm in Colorado, Stevi grew up riding and training horses. As a teen, she moved to Oklahoma and discovered barrel racing, instantly knowing it was her path. She earned a degree in radiology before returning to training, focusing on a horse named Hammer.

Her and Hammer ended up Reserve Rookie of the Year that same year in her first year of professional rodeo.

Rodeo has opened many doors and opportunities for Stevi, especially the connections and relationships she’s built along the way. “That’s what’s truly important in life,” she says. “At the end of the day, it’s the impact you leave that matters most.”
